Gorgeous, long-lasting jewelry made with quality and style should never be a compromise. While my focus is expertly crafted custom jewelry no matter what type of jewelry you're looking for, I design my pieces to be unique, durable and attractive handmade jewelry
When you order handmade and custom jewelry from me, whether it's your first or tenth time, you become part of my tribe. During your search for the perfect gemstone or setting, I help you through the process.
I treat my clients with the honesty and respect they deserve. I want clients to feel the same pride when wearing the pieces I create that I do in making them.
Please reach us at reinedeblanc@yahoo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Reticulation, which is used exclusively by studio jewelers, produces a ridged or ripply surface through controlled heating. ... Reticulation usually involves heating a sheet of gold or silver alloy up to 10 times to oxidize the copper at the surface, then pickling to remove the oxide and leave a thin layer of pure metal
I try to do orders very promptly as I receive them. Generally It takes 2 weeks or less for production time plus shipping. Some orders require me to source materials that I don't have on hand, and so, it sometimes can take longer. I will definitely be able to give you a time frame when we discuss your specific needs for your order.
I work in pretty much everything Except Gold right now. I can do certain things like my simple casts of reticulated bands in gold upon request. Those will take extra time for production and a full deposit is required up front due to the high cost of gold.
Yes. I do require a minimum deposit of 50% on all custom orders. The remaining 50% is due upon production completion.
I do not recommend using chemical dips or solutions. If you would like to polish your jewelry, I recommend a polishing cloth for hand-polishing your pieces. They are available in a variety of shops and online. if you need help finding one, I am happy to recommend one for you. Also, I do not recommend showering or bathing with your jewelry on or sleeping with it on, especially necklaces with chain. It is durable but it's best to remove it for longevity.
Some people do have allergies or sensitivities to certain types of alloys. An alloy is a mixed metal. Sterling Silver is an alloy, hence the 925 stamps you see on Sterling Silver jewelry. It means it is 92.5% Silver and normally copper or some other metal is added to strengthen the silver because is is very soft otherwise. Most people are ok with Sterling and other metals such as copper and brass. If you know you have an allergy please take it into consideration when ordering. I can put a sealant on certain pieces to reduce exposure to a skin allergy, but all will eventually wear off over time and will need to be reapplied. Please contact me if you have any questions prior to placing an order.
I do use raw specimens in my work, some of which can be delicate and are not typically used in commercial jewelry. Therefore, some pieces may need extra care in wearing them and may not be appropriate for every day wear. They are more statement pieces and made for special occasions. If you have questions about one of these pieces prior to purchase, please contact me and I will address any concerns you may have.
Most orders will take 2 business days to ship out. I do my best to get them out promptly! Some things may take a bit longer if you request a different size than what I have in stock so it is best to contact me prior to placing an order to ensure I can accommodate you in the time frame you need (ie. Cosmic Token rings). Orders ship out via Standard International with tracking and insurance via Australian Post (with the free shipping that I offer). If you need express shipping, please add on the "express shipping" option to the shopping cart prior to check out.
When I say it is Scorched (fire kissed) it means I have heat treated it with my blow torch to cause an oxidized effect.
If you place an order for an item that I regularly produce and it goes on back order, that means I need to make more and it is currently unavailable But will be! I usually just need 1-2 weeks additional time to make it. I will send you a note once you place the order and inform you of the expected ETA.
I understand that some clients do not like to use the Paypal checkout option. If you would prefer to pay by check or postal money order, you can mail me a check or money order and I will hold your piece until payment clears, then ship it out to you. Please contact me prior to writing and sending a personal check or money order, for the appropriate information to fill it out with and where to send it.
You can also pay by Zelle, sending the payment with a note as to what you're paying for to jennifer.janaskie@gmail.com. I can also send you a Square invoice or you can pay via Venmo to @JJreinedeBlanc with a note as to what you are paying for. It is best to just contact me directly prior to making a purchase through these other means. Thanks!, JJ
